STRANGER THINGS - SEASON 1 REVIEW

Created by The Duffer Brothers Starring Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Matthew Modine, Joe Keery, Cara Buono, Noah Schnapp, Shannon Purser The Plot: The disappearance of a young boy named Will (Noah Schnapp) leads his 3 friends on this search to eventually cross paths with a young girl named Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) who has telekinetic powers and also a connection to where young Will transported off to in his days of absence. Disclaimer: This will be a SPOILER-FREE review, but after I give my grade there are a few spoilers I want to get into. Here we go. So Stranger Things was one of the shows that I heard whispers about and saw a promotional image of, maybe a month before it's release? I don't exactly remember. It was close to when it was releasing and it wasn't like I wasn't interested in watching the first season because, really, I just didn't know an...

STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS (MY 5 FAVORITE EPISODE ARCS + THE MICRO SERIES)

How's it going guys? As we get closer to the release of Star Wars Episode VIII The Last Jedi , I've been having such a blast giving you reviews of every Star Wars movie leading up to this new film's release, but I figured I'd shake things up a bit this week. Before I tackled Revenge of the Sith I thought it'd be a great time to delve into the most pivotal event in the series between Episodes II and III and that is The Clone Wars . I am a fan of The Clone Wars shows new and old and instead of talking about the entire series of the newer show I'd give you thoughts on 5 episode arcs that I really love and remind me what's so good about this franchise. Also, because the original show was a favorite of mine growing up I figured I'd give my thoughts on that as well. Without further ado here are 5 of my favorite Clone Wars arcs in no particular rank, but in order of release, as well as thoughts on the early 2000s micro series. Here we go: THE MORTIS TR...

BLADE RUNNER 2049 - MOVIE REVIEW

*Directed by Denis Villineuve *Starring Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Jared Leto, Sylvia Hoeks, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Dave Bautista, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, David Dastmalchain The Plot: I think it's best to go into this not knowing any of the main plot, so to REALLY sum things up, the film takes 30 years after the events of the original film in futuristic Los Angeles focusing on a new Blade Runner named Agent K (Ryan Gosling) who's investigating a case that leads him to find a former Blade Runner named Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) who spent years out in hiding regarding this mystery. I'll admit that I'm not the biggest Blade Runner fan in the sense that it's never been one of my favorites I watched over and over again. However, that isn't to say that it won't become one of those favorites because I watched it for the first time in five years in preparation to see this movie and it is truly one of the g...
