The Rise of Skywalker: FIRST IMPRESSIONS (NO SPOILERS)

Well we’ve reached the end of the Skywalker Saga and this isn’t going to be a review of the movie per se . You can look up any video/written review online and hear/read an amalgamation of different opinions, this time around I just want to let out my thoughts and feelings surrounding the movie itself and generally how the movie affected me as a whole. I’ll say this is blogger therapy (sorry I couldn’t come up with something clever). But this does feel therapeutic because what happens in this movie and how this movie can affect people in all ways is something that I really want to dive into. First of all, as you read in my last post I stated how Star Wars fans are very hard books to read (and if you want to hear more of those thoughts click here ) , but what happens in this movie was able to greatly satisfy me. IS THE STAR WARS HYPE DEAD?

So we’re so close to the release of the conclusion to the Star Wars Skywalker Saga being The Rise of Skywalker and with the state of Star Wars we’re in right now where we’ve had talent in the TV realm with The Mandalorian and the recent video game Jedi Fallen Order and a new movie on the horizon, the excitement is through the roof, right? Well, it honestly depends on who you ask. Now it is no mistake that every piece of Star Wars content will have its fair share of success on a financial standpoint. Not only does Lucasfilm care about making talented content for its fans, but let’s not forget Disney is a corporation that wants to earn a profit off of these franchises.  In the end it’s a business, so there’s always gonna be a piece of Star Wars content to get into and it wasn’t until Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012 that perhaps there was a new pair Twin Suns to stare out towards hoping for a brighter future for Star Wars after some not so great responses to pr...
